Be Ovary Aware 2024
Join us for the 16th Annual Be Ovary Aware 5k Run 3K Walk. Raise awareness for ovarian cancer and raise funds to support Colorado women with 7 different types of gynecologic cancers: Ovarian, fallopian tube, uterine/endometrial, cervical, vaginal, vulvar and peritoneal cancers.

Patient Services Committee
Sue’s Gift Patient Services Committee meets three–four times a year to provide guidance, share creative ideas, and facilitate new and current patient services for women with gynecologic cancers in Colorado.
Our patient services include providing financial grants, training mentors to provide peer support, matching newly diagnosed women with trained survivors, providing educational and integrative therapy webinars, posting blogs and presentations on our website, and assembling “Teal-Good Bags” that are given out at facilities to women in treatment.
We are meeting virtually to include women from across the state and would love for you to be a part of our Patient Services Team.

Mentor Meeting
Our monthly mentor meetings are open to women who have completed training to become a Woman to Woman mentor to provide peer support to someone who is newly diagnosed or back in treatment.
Monday, December 11th at 5:30 PM
Mentors meet monthly via Zoom for networking, mutual support, and continuing education on various topics, including communication skills, boundary setting, community resources, self care measures, coping strategies, and ways to support mentees.
If you are one year post-treatment from gynecologic cancer and are interested in being a mentor and connecting with other survivors, contact Sherry Martin, LCSW, Patient Services Director, at sherry@suesgift.org for more information.
