About Us
Sue’s Gift is the only non-profit organization in southern Colorado that provides financial grants, trained peer support mentors, and licensed clinical support groups for women in Colorado with gynecologic cancer.
Our Mission
We believe every woman deserves her best chance at survival regardless of her economic situation. We assist Colorado women with the costs associated with gynecologic cancer diagnoses through our Financial Assistance Program. Our Woman to Woman program trains and empowers women, one-year post treatment, to mentor a newly diagnosed patient with the same cancer type.
Who Was Sue DiNapoli?
Sue DiNapoli was a Colorado Springs woman in the prime of her life when she received her ovarian cancer diagnosis. Sue had excellent health insurance through her employer but still the bills piled up. As she bravely navigated the disease, she often worried as much for other women’s financial well-being as well as for her own health. Sue was quoted as saying: “Making seriously ill women choose between paying for their cancer treatment and paying for their housing payment seems unusually cruel.
Our Team
Sue’s Gift is powered by dedicated volunteers and staff committed to supporting Colorado women facing gynecologic cancer. From financial aid and peer mentoring to education, community outreach, and professionally licensed, facilitated support groups, our team works tirelessly to ensure patients, survivors, caregivers, and their loved ones never face this journey alone.
